Mock Cable & Basketweave Sweaters 6 sizes

By Melinda Goodfellow

I like to design classic sweaters with easy to follow instructions. This pattern includes the instructions for BOTH the Mock Cable and Basketweave sweaters in BOTH the pullover and cardigan.

The sweaters have a drop style sleeves and the sleeves are picked up and knit down from the shoulders. Sizing on these sweaters is generous but I still wouldn’t hesitate to go up a size. I first made this sweater for my niece, it was a bit big but my sister just rolled up the sleeves and it still looked cute, plus she wore it for over a year!
